Why this does not affect our verdicts

Our rankings are computed, not chosen. A product's position comes from counted owner sentiment and published specifications — see our methodology — and that computation runs before any commercial relationship is considered. We do not accept payment for placement, we do not accept review units, and we do not remove criticism at a brand's request.

Where owners report problems, we publish the count. That is the entire point of the site, and it is worth more to us than any commission.
